Day Camp

The Afrofun day camp specializes in teaching, promoting and promoting Afro-descendant culture and aims to provide a unique experience for young people aged 5 to 12. Drumming and Percussion:

Through hands-on drumming sessions, campers will experience the power of African rhythms and explore the rich history of African percussion instruments.

Visual Arts:

Campers will unleash their creativity through painting, pottery, and other visual arts activities, drawing inspiration from African art traditions.

History and Heritage:

Participants will engage in interactive sessions exploring the history, traditions, and contributions of Afro-descendants, both locally and globally.

Language and Literature:

Through storytelling and language workshops, campers will have the opportunity to learn African languages and explore African literature.

What to Bring

The parent must make sure to bring, in a backpack or other, the
necessary equipment to have a good day:

Sportswear suitable for the day’s activities

Espadrilles that hold well and protect the foot (no ballerina or “gogoune”)

1 reusable water bottle preferably

2 Snacks

No toys from home will be accepted.

Swimsuit and towel

Cold lunch with an ice pack (no peanuts
or nuts)

Solar cream

Hat, cap
